Monarca T3

Sorry for late post but I was without Internet due to some bad people. Anyway we had yesterday nice task of 70 km which we made in hour and a half. Day looked cool and at the end we had some nice clouds and fullbaring to goal.

Start was standard 5km around Piano at 12:30 and as always everybody waited at Crazy Thermal and G-spot to catch best place for gliding to Divisadero with 2km radius. Just after Divis we climbed to go out to make La Pila int he valley in front with 4km radius.

 On the glide to La Pila plan was to go after that to Espinaso to go for convergence to take us to Capulin int the middle of the Mesa but we did not find some interesting lift that would take us to Crazy but we could have done it and it would be better. Instead of using Espinaso we went back to Magey and we tried to go to Capulin but as we saw that we do not have enough altitude we went through lee side of Gspot to climb there. Some pilots (Yasen, Penso, Daniel) went straight to Capulin and I saw them very low, and for few minutes I was seeing my self as first on overall at least for one day J but they made ultra low save and climbed beore we got there. Next TP was again Capulin (same TP) but you had to gou out or away from it 6km in any drection and than back to make 500m same TP. Clouds apeared on convergence line to Monarca so we used clouds, convergence and good climbs to go out and back. Going out I saw Penso 700m below me and as I saw that I ll arive with my height to Capulin with 700m I thought he will not make it and I will pass him to goal but he got from very low convergence and made it with low altitude. Rest of us pushed full speed last 12 km but we could not catch him. I was nice race to goal seeing all pilots pushing full throtle towards Torre our goal in Valle de Bravo.

 

I made it forth in goal but got fifth by results. Day was won by Yasen and second was Penso. I am still second in overall with 200 points in front of thrid but also I am missing 200 points to first place. It will be very hard to beat Penso in next two days.
