Task 4
Again today god and interesitng task. 84 km with gal in Valle dBravo and with interesting finish. Meteo conditions were again as yesterday, south west wind below 2500m and NE above. Strting cilinder was 6 k around lounch. Today the window was oppened for 2 hours so everybody had good chance to make good starting position. I thought that starting cilinder was 2 k around take of so on start I was 2,5 k behind. Crazy did not make cumuli and we all went across with 2700m.
On Maguey some pilots started thermaling but as I was late I took straight line to Divisadero on the out. Here I cought with Jamie good line and we went up with no bothering with wind and turbulence on the ridge. We were fast at Divisadero and I took again same line for going back. Here I got again good line and now I was in fronti n search of good thermal in fronto f Maguey. One Boom near me started turning 1ms climb but I went in front and found 4ms climb and we were now making height to way to Monarca. Afther we made good climb we went to Cerro Gorrdo to make climb to new cumulus over it. Everybody was thermaling on all sides of mountan, winward, lee, everywher went up nicely to the cloudbase. Here we splitted in two groups. One took left line to Monarca, the shortest way but under clear sky. We went on the right to catch convergence and cumuli road to Monarca. We had better road to tp but longer. We turned again one thermal behind start and we went to catch climb over yesterdays goal. Here both groups joined together and we were thermaling everywhere but not more than 4,5 ms under big cumulus. Here I got too close and I ended in cloud. I had to now turn to south to loose height and here I lost the first group. At Monarca TP was also one moment very good climb but when we all made tp it was gne so lower pilots were fighting against stronger SW wind in weak thermal. Firstones had good height and they were just cruiseing under bases to next TP whch was take off. I was now lonely wolf couse I wanted to catch group and did not wanted to stay with slower pilots. I was flying fast to find 5ms or bigger climb to bring me back in the game but I found only 3-3,5ms. Now on the way to take off I took good line on the higher ground and I was slightly going up on 60% of speed. At take off we came 400m above and next was Cero Gordo and thn Valle. First pilots found 1ms thermal behind Penon that slightly drifted them to Cerro. We which were little lower had to fight lee side of Penon to make it to Crazy to gn height to make Cerro. I saw winners when they went to Cerro, while we were thermaling turbulent lee side Crazy thermal. Me and few pilots got strong climb and we could glide to end of speed section on Cerro Gordo. At Cerro I came heigh to make cilinder without soaring on the mountain. Now I had time so there was no rush to make it to the Valle to the goal. We climbed on west side good thermal and on the way to goal we had just climb and easy glide. Winner was Chrigel Maurer today.
Today about five people fell int he trees. Most of them behind take off on the glide from Monarca and some behind Penon.

Karlo did not make it to the goal he stuck behind take off in big sink. I was in top 40 I think, maybe better.
