Monarca T6 - Second Yeees!
Wow what a nice task against of all ods said by the forecast. Like 40 km to fly with elapsed time race. Day won Yasen, me came second and third one Mantra. I was a bit late at start but later I went alone and pushed more and came fast to goal. Weather for today was not so good in forecast. Lot of cloud coverage and a lot of wind but at the and below cloudbases it was very good with nice climbs and not so much of wind. Decision of te task comity was to make first par tinto the wind and rest with back and side wind which was very good decision.
Monarca T5
This day changed overall positions of top pilots. Day was very windy with lot of clouds making shade and for most of us it was not good. In the goal came just three pilots and now they will be the ones in the leed. I would say that there is no chance I ll catch the diference in points so the podium is lost.
Monarca T4 - canceled
Today the day is canceled in the air before start oft he race. It was windy with strong thermals and for loto f pilots I think it was too much to handle. I think it was good choice couse for sure with this clouds and wind we would not be able to make more than 25 km of the 70 km long race. I had on trim over 70 and tried fullbar down wind to see how it lookes on grroundspeed over 95 kmh J. Tomorow is the next day so we will se how it goes.
Monarca T3
Sorry for late post but I was without Internet due to some bad people. Anyway we had yesterday nice task of 70 km which we made in hour and a half. Day looked cool and at the end we had some nice clouds and fullbaring to goal.
Start was standard 5km around Piano at 12:30 and as always everybody waited at Crazy Thermal and G-spot to catch best place for gliding to Divisadero with 2km radius. Just after Divis we climbed to go out to make La Pila int he valley in front with 4km radius.
Monarca T2
Today was almost nice day. High clouds spoiled some results of some pilots and mesa did not make convergence as usual so we got few times very low on north side of mesa. For some it was bombing out. Day won again Raul Penso and me got again second 11 minutes behind. Some top pilots did not make it today but a lot of other pilots made it. It was basicaly today in the choice of flying slower with better routes than pushing like maniacs and ending low.
Monarca paragliding open T1
Hola la and first task of Monarca paragliding open PrePWC is behind us. It was quite tough day and long task for this kind of conditions. I made it luckily second today 13 minutes behind Penso. I must say I was prety happy couse I almost landed two times on the way and at half of the race I had 40 gliders in front.
Najbolji Hrvat opet Marko Hrgetić
Završilo je još jedno državno prvenstvo u preletima parajedrilicama (paragliderima) Istra OPEN 2010 koje se održavalo na području Istre, na potezu od Motovuna preko Buzeta sve do Učke i Plomina, a na kojem je sudjelovalo četrdeset i tri pilota većinom iz Hrvatske i Slovenije. Nažalost nešto manje natjecatelja nego prošle godine. U predviđenih tjedan dana održane su tri vrlo kvalitetne utrke sa startevima iznad Buzeta te ciljem u Buzetu i Ćepić polju. Prva utrka iznosila je 72 km i najbrže ju je odradio Karlo Bonačić za 2:37:01 dok su iza njega bili sa par minuta zaostatka Marko Hrgetić te Slovenac Marko Novak.

Dobra stvar je što će nas se opet moći pratiti putem LIVE trackinga uz pomoć Google Earth aplikacije. Live tracking i rezultate, te video i foto moći ćete naći ovdje, a kod nas dnevne izvještaje (ako budemo imali internet).
Hrgetić prvi na FOH 2010
Od 19.-22.06 u Sinju odnosno Hrvacama odrţavalo se međunarodno natjecanje u preletima parajedrilicom Feniks Open Hrvace 2010 u organizaciji Paragliding kluba Feniks iz Zagreba.Nepovoljni vremenski uvjeti rezultirali se ne tako dobrim odazivom natjecatelja na samo natjecanje te je ukupno pristupilo 22 natjecatelja od čega je bilo 4 strana pilota.Održana je jedna utrka i to prvi dan natjecanja.
Monarca T5
Task 5 55 km cik cak po grebenu pa onda u Valle de Bravo. Cca 70 ljudi u cilju. Dan je izgledao u pocetku sa starta koma. !00 posto pokriveno cirusima i stratusima. Mislili smo jos jedna curiona a onda je na kraju u zraku postalo super. Malo se razvedrilo i utjecaj hladne fronte pokazao je zube dobrim termikama koje su isle cak do 4000m. Task je za mene poceo lose jer sam na startu popio jedan Red bull pa sam bio nervozan u zraku i nikako da popenjem na vrh termike. Na startnom cilindru nizi pa sam odlucio dovrtiti i pustiti pilote naprijed.
